According to the World Health Organization, the number of patients worldwide who are suffering from asthma is over 300 million. With rising trends, this number is expected to increase to 400 million by 2025. Patients with asthma and allergic disease have a reduced quality of life. Asthma causes 250,000 deaths annually. In the United States, 23 million people — including 7 million children — suffer from asthma, and the prevalence is increasing. Pediatric asthma alone results in 14 million missed U.S. school days each year, which in turn results in lost work days for parents and lost wages. As allergies and asthma continue to rise, the World Allergy Organization calls for increased training for non-allergist health professionals to become skilled at diagnosing and treating allergies and asthma.
With this data in mind, we set out to find a solution to the growing allergy crisis. The AllergiEnd diagnostic and Allergen Immunotherapy system is designed for the busy non-allergist, in a primary care setting. To keep up with the demand of the increased need for allergy testing and treatment by non-allergists, we removed the complexity and methodical flaws in typical allergy testing to provide a simple, broad spectrum, allergy diagnostic and immunotherapy solution. A solution that provides relief and treatment for patients whose allergies are not life-threatening yet miserable.
To date, this process has created six published patents. Our organization has authored two reference manuals and developed a comprehensive vocational e-learning platform for the busy primary care practitioner. We are currently developing our third publication.
